It’s clear that social media is a very powerful tool for digital marketing and branding. With one tweet or post, a company can reach thousands or even millions of customers. On Twitter, getting your message out takes just a few words and a click. But that power can work against a company when someone mis-tweets, tweets without thinking, or ignores a tweet stream. People go on Twitter for information, so why not give the people what they want? Direct them to your blog content, other people’s content that relates to your business, or current promotions. The key is information. It’s not about you just blabbering on about your own business. When you share useful information, people will want to connect with you.
