Ansell Award

Update: The Ansell corporate video covered in this blog post has won two industry awards! The first is a 2017 Communicator Award of Excellence from the Academy of Interactive & Visual Arts, where it was among the winners chosen from a pool of 6,000 entrants worldwide. The second is a Gold Astra Award from the New Jersey Communications Advertising and Marketing Association. Read on to find out more and to watch the video...

After four years of great collaboration with Ansell, the world leader in healthcare and industrial protection, we can finally show you our work.

It’s not that the previous work wasn’t up to snuff… our eight keynotes and on-site event videos and animations to date were shown on screens up to 15 meters wide in some pretty fancy locales in Carmel Valley, Budapest and Istanbul. But that was state-of-the-company, visionary stuff meant for Ansell leadership, not for public consumption.

This year, we were thrilled to be selected to write and produce the Ansell corporate video. The piece features a “passion for protection” theme, bringing to the fore the values that Ansell stand for as a company – innovation, collaboration and walking the walk to protect people at work so they can be productive and make it home. It’s a simple, yet powerful “why.”

The video also features editing and several scenes filmed on location by Alex Williams, owner of VideoTrekker Films, at the Ansell events and corporate offices, as well as footage provided by video teams that we coordinated with around the world. Topics that weren’t covered by our custom footage were supplemented with cleverly placed stock footage.

The tone of the video is soft and heartfelt, and I’m happy to say that it truly tells the story of the Ansell that we’ve come to know over the years. (And the CEO is happy, which is always important.) Please take a look and let us know what you think.

And while we’re at it, here are a few scenes from past Ansell video productions…
